MY FAVORITE BARTENDER

There are some bartenders that make you feel comfortable and welcome,and who make some bars more popular than others.They know all the regulars and are friendly and warm towards new customer.


This is Sandro, a  favorite bartender of many,in his domain-Fresco wine bar in Hamilton,Bermuda.

HAMILTON OFFICES



This painting was done from a photo taken when I was on a boat with a friend who works in the office building with the blue balconies.
The water was somewhat choppy and buildings looked a bit crooked on a photo,and this is a result.
Perhaps,I will do another,more straight version of the same view.

BERMUDA CHIMNEY at sunset- from a collection of small paintings



For years I was reluctant to paint white roofs and chimneys of Bermuda,because it was such an obvious subject matter-in some way ,very "touristy",but at one point these white roofs and chimneys start to find a way into my Bermudian paintings and I accepted them as a quintessential element of Bermuda scenery.
