There are some bartenders that make you feel comfortable and welcome, and who make some bars more popular than others. They know all the regulars and are friendly and warm towards new customer.
This is Sandro, a favorite bartender of many,in his domain-Fresco wine bar in Hamilton,Bermuda.
Stop by for a glass of wine or campari and orange juce.

For years I was reluctant to paint white roofs and chimneys of Bermuda, because it was such an obvious subject matter-in some way ,very "touristy",but at one point these white roofs and chimneys start to find a way into my Bermudian paintings and I accepted them as a quintessential element of Bermuda scenery.
This painting was based on a photo that I have taken at the sunrise one morning. The view is one of the Trunk islands ,Harrington Sound. The light had some mystical quality, that I wanted to capture.

It is the end of November, but today the sun is shining in Bermuda, and white roofs look even whiter.Queen of England is living the island today and so am I.Next posting on Saturday.
